BECOME A MEMBER

We are a very casual club. Our entire purpose is to have fun enjoying our bullies together regardless of any personal beliefs or an agenda. We are over seventy members at the present time. We have members from all over the world not just North America. The BTFA is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club as the national club for the Miniature Bull Terrier fancy. The BTFA welcomes all the MBT folks to join our club and participate in all of our activities. Everyone is welcome to fill out an application and join the club. We have both single & family memberships. Both Human & Bull Terrier guests are always welcome at meetings & events….. See the schedule below.

 The Bull Terrier Fanciers Association proudly hosts the “Bronze Trophy Weekend” every year. The Bronze is the only “Bull Terrier Trophy Show” in Canada. The top Bull Terriers & Miniature Bull Terriers from all over North America have come to show in this event on the first weekend in May every year for the past forty years.
 Both as a club and with an entire network of rescue organizations, we are active in Bull Terrier Rescue. We are active in helping all Bull Terriers in need everywhere but primarily in South Western Ontario.
 As a Bull Breed club, and with the Canadian Kennel Club and the Bull Terrier Club of America we support opposition to any Breed Specific Legislation and we encourage our members to join the CKC in these efforts. No breed of dog should be banned. Punish the owner and not the breed.
 Our members participate and support our club only to the extent of their interest & ability and there is no formal commitment to this participation or attendance at any of our meetings or events.
 It is our mandate to serve the needs of all Bull Terrier & Miniature Bull Terrier fanciers… pet owners, dedicated rescue folks and championship dog show enthusiasts.

The Bull Terrier Fanciers Association proudly welcomes all members of the Mini Bull Terrier Club of Canada to join the BTFA and bring their Mini Bull Terriers to our activities and events. Let's work together to grow our breed and breed events through mutually supported entries and specialty shows.

	Bronze Trophy Welcome Gathering at our host hotel the Howard Johnson Express Inn on Lundy's Lane.
Saturday May 5	Supported entry at Seaway for Miniature Bull Terriers Only. Bull Terriers: Open Trophy Show Miniature Bull Terriers: Open Trophy Show BTFA Luncheon & Raffle, BRONZE TROPHY SHOW & MINIATURE BULL TERRIER TROPHY SHOW.
Sunday May 6	The BTFA Miniature Bull Terrier National Specialty and Puppy Sweepstakes.
	The Annual BTFA BT Rescue Parade.
	The BTFA Bull Terrier Specialty & Puppy Sweepstakes.
Sunday July 1	ANNUAL BTFA BT Rescue CANADA DAY WALK & BBQ (with a short General Meeting before). Starts about noon. Host and location to be determined.
Saturday August 18	BTFA Supported Bull Terrier & Miniature Bull Terrier Boosters at The St Catharines Kennel Club Show in Beamsville.
Sunday August 19	Short Meeting after the BT & MBT events. Great BBQ after the show .. with Sanction Match. BTFA Hospitality Tent for BT & MBT exhibitors with many BTFA members showing in this event. Fun Time.
Sunday October 28	Annual BFTA Halloween Costume Party & Great Treat Hunt.. A short General Meeting at 1:00 PM, Treat Hunt and Halloween Costume Party to follow with the BBQ and/or Pot Luck Lunch after. Lots of time to come out and socialize with your Bully Friends.
