The Don Cherry Trophy Weekend

In early 2010 The Bull Terrier Fanciers Association proudly welcomed the Miniature Bull Terrier folks & fanciers to be part of their club activities. The BTFA then became recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club as the "National Club" for the Miniature Bull Terrier Breed in Canada. A BTFA Booster and a BTFA Supported Entry Event for Miniature Bull Terriers were held at the Seaway Kennel Club Championship All Breed Show in May 2010 in Thorold, Ontario, Canada.. The inaugural (2010) BTFA MBT Canadian National Specialty was also held that year in Allanburg, Ontario, Canada, in conjunction with of the Bronze Trophy Show Weekend. Many Miniature Bull Terrier folks joined the BTFA and participated in Booster & Supported Entry BTFA activities such as the Canada Day Rescue Walk, The Puppy Garden Party ad the Annual Halloween Costume Party & Treat Hunt.. Lot's of fun for all bullies and bully folk.

We were pleased to have "Louie" be chosen Best of Breed. He is proudly owned by BTFA member Mark Brozich. BTFA MBT Boosters were also held at the Seaway Kennel Club Show (May), The Northern Alberta Kennel Club (June) and the St. Catharines Championship All Breed Show in August. At the St Catharines Booster BTFA member Troy Rossignol went Best of Breed with MBPIS Ch Rozzi's Air Force One (Spiller). Spiller went on to become #1 MBT in Canada for 2011. The Second Annual BTFA MBT Specialty was again held in May in conjunction with the Bronze Trophy Show Weekend in May. 2011 was a special year for Paula & Jet with the achievement of many titles, championing the MBT Breed at the Purina Cavacade of English Breeds and commencing a fly ball career.
